Pours an orangey colour, some hops a little bit fruity but has that distinctive Wychwood taste that makes many of theirs a bit of a one size fits all. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 6, 2005 Brown bottle. So they finally smartened up and got rid of the clear bottle? It’s about time. Pours a clear orange-red with a large frothy white head. Aroma was nice and skunk free -- I’ve had this beer many times and it was always skunky so it’s a pleasant change. Aroma was grainy with light floral hops, some wheat, caramel and fruit. The flavour was, unfortunately, not hoppy at all. I did taste some wheat, malt and fruit. Taste was too mild -- it’s decent but nothing special. BeerandBlues2 (3237), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Malt (hay, straw, husk) and yeast (barn, horse blanket) aroma with trace hops. Moderately bitter and medium acidity, malt (grain, straw) flavor with some tart rind hop notes. Medium bodied and fizzy palate.
