awebster (165), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 30, 2005 One of the best bitters I’ve ever had. Great flavor, body, nose, and finish. So very easy to drink, truly a delight to drink. I hate to classify this as a ESB, to me it reminds me more of a wheat beer. cyrenaica (265), Milton, Ontario, Canada Aug 13, 2007 500ml bottle

I first tried this beer on August 13, 2007 after puchasing from my local LCBO outlet. The beer piured a nice dark translucent coppery red in to a glass with a generous loose white head. The aroma was a combination of nuts and hops, a little spicy. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with some mild carbonation. The taste is very mild with some malty hints and a hint of bitterness of the tongue. baseballguy (246), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 4, 2001 I’m going on a limb here, because I’m way out of line with the other raters on this beer. It’s a lovely, flavorful ale that I would order again and again. The mouthfeel is fresh and zippy, lip-smacking good (I’m doing so right now). If I’m trying an unfamiliar beer, I don’t check the ratings in advance so as not to prejudice myself; once I’ve made up my mind I do take a peek. Usually I’m near the composite rating, but not always, and this is one of those times I’m happy to be a contrarian and champion an underrated beer. A big thumbs up. MP99 (6), California, USA does not count Jul 1, 2002 I wish there were images of the Wychwood beers. Fiddler’s: nutty, clean hoppy finish, refreshing. BrainDead (30), Derby, England Oct 15, 2002 Nectar! I don’t understand the ’skunk’ references in some of the reviews. This is a great malty, sweet, heavy and hoppy beer. Excellent.
