Light carbonation, with a nice earthy aftertone. I like the color and the smooth flavor, but it has little or no real depth. Uglyradio (776), Greenville, South Carolina, USA

Slightly skunky, malty aroma with a touch of hops. The flavor is mildly malty with some hops coming through in the slightly bitter finish. Slightly thin mouthfeel, medium carbonation. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2003 Has the colour of a dodgy urine sample, but if you can get past that, this ale has plenty to offer. The first whiff suggests a bittery hoppy tang, but translates nicely onto the tongue with strong but smooth flavours. Settles nicely with soft citric tones. The label says it is made with malted barley and wheat with Styrian hops. Another alround top performer from the Wychwood stable
