Bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium bitter sweet flavor with a sour citrus finish of average duration. A strange combination of flavor.

Here we go again, default marks for a Wychwood product. Usual aroma, maybe with a little honey, some hop flower. Thin mouthfeel, hoppy finish.

Bottle: Pours a golden body with a thick and frothy off white head. Strong hop aroma along witha spicy sweet cinnamon smell. Has a bitter hoppy taste, aswell as bready and yeasty. Smooth mouth feel with a biter aftertaste along with a slight tingle in the throat. Not my favorite beer!

Brown bottle. So they finally smartened up and got rid of the clear bottle? It’s about time. Pours a clear orange-red with a large frothy white head. Aroma was nice and skunk free -- I’ve had this beer many times and it was always skunky so it’s a pleasant change. Aroma was grainy with light floral hops, some wheat, caramel and fruit. The flavour was, unfortunately, not hoppy at all. I did taste some wheat, malt and fruit. Taste was too mild -- it’s decent but nothing special.

Clear orange amber colour with thin biege head. Grainy/grassy malt nose with slight hop hints. Mild bitter hop taste with lingering bitter finish.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle. Actually a fair bit better than I was expecting, or maybe I was just in a good mood so was a little more generous. Sweet and malty with some barley and toffee. Dull but so much more than I thought it would be.

Bottle picked up from the brewery with a range of other beers in a mixed case pack. Pours an orangey colour, some hops a little bit fruity but has that distinctive Wychwood taste that makes many of theirs a bit of a one size fits all.
