"eh. decent enough, it’s true to the style as a classic english bitter, there’s just not much to grab one’s attention. well balanced but a bit thin, with a slightly bitter and spicy (and delicate) hop presence."

Regular.

16.9oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a medium brown with a small head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and malt. Taste of the same with more malt. This medium bodied brew was OK.

Floral perfume and caramel aroma, very mellow scent. Clouded tan color. Dry sweet flavor, slight hop presence. Slick thinner body. Just an ordinary bitter IMO.

This beer pours a clear light brown resembling the many great brown beer that England is known for. There was very little head. The aroma was very malty with some caramel and hoppy tones present. Maybe even a little nutty. The flavour was more malty than bitter making the hoppy presence less than expected.

Bottle. This is a pretty boring bitter at a pretty high price. Not wort picking up.

This English pale ale is different than American pale ales. It poured a medium brown color with a slight what I would call toffee scent. Upon tasting it had a bold toffee flavor. No bad aftertaste, definitely well made but not an everyday type of beer. Something nice to try.

Bouteille 500ml.
