1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle 500ml, K-Isolinna
Clear amber color, small white head. Sweetish, ginger ale/radler aroma. Light-bodied. Sweet, soda pop -like, ginger flavor is not very "spicey". Light citric notes, otherwise way too sweet for my liking. Lacks also real ginger kick.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very sweet aroma with light ginger. Good embossed pint bottle and label. Light amber beer with a white head. Very sugary sweet up front transitioning into a slow ginger burn at the back. Syrupy-pepper finish. Comes off more as an alcopop or shandy. Disappointing. New Leaf Market.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 500 ml bottle. Medium copper pour, soft off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is of course very gingery with just a hint of soapiness to dampen my enthusiasm. Flavor is solid with plenty of ginger goodness, a touch of warm booziness, some rye mintiness. Nice spritz in the mouthfeel. Interesting novelty.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a nice caramel color with a one inch plus head that lasts. Taste is of ginger, spice, floral and caramel. Similar, ginger aroma. Has a cloying body, with a spicy and warming finish. Easy to drink and rather refreshing. Worth having again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Been a big fan of Witchwood brewery beers. My first ginger ale in years. First thing is wow, the spicy bite in tongue from ginger, really a ginger ale. Characteristic to respect. Sweet notes drags down the overall joy about it. Even I cant say I like it a lot it is bright example in its own area.

I adore gingerbear and this was delicious. It had the malty/hoppy taste I think of when I think of Wychwood and ginger.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bright gold colour, the pours brings about an inch of foam that leaves nice lacing.
Talk about truth in advertising, the smell is loaded with ginger. I have know clue to as what the base beer could be.
Initial flavour I pick up is some sweet malt soon overcome by the main focus of this brew...ginger. Spicy, yes. And that’s the gist of the beer.
Fairly light bodied with lightish carbonation.
It’s an interesting experiment but I reckon I prefer the normal ginger beers, without any alcohol. It IS tasty so I can’t really slam it.

Aroma is ginger/ginger ale, mouth wash and lemon/lime. The flavor is lemon/lime, ginger, malts, light citrus and a mildly sour/tart finish.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden pour with ring of white head. Smells clean and gingery. but the flavor is a bit more muddled. There is ginger for sure, but it’s almost like a very spicy gingerale with hints of woody tannins and some european hop bitterness on the tail end. Leaves me with heartburn. Not my favorite.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear pale orange body with a minimal white cap of foam. Taste has a sharp ginger aroma accompanied by some citrus fruits. Taste is surprisingly sweet with a warm gingery burn alongside. Carbonation is medium and palate fairlyheavy due to the sweetness of the drink. Overall decent, has a nice warm afterburn.
