Back off itís Ginger Beard, heís a fiery character and his beer is no different. This amber ale is infused with fiery root ginger to deliver a spicy finish with a bit of bite. Try it if you dare!

Hmm, the nose is a bit worryingly halfway between an ale and a ginger beer. Pours a clear burnished copper with no lasting head of any description. The taste - not for me. Imagine a pretty insipid, unremarkable ale ... now dump a load of sugar and a bit of fiery ginger in it. Thatís what this is. If thatís your thing, then fine, but, again, not for me.

Ginger? Lots of it, and sweet too. Not my kind of beer though. Amber coloured and almost clear.

Meh. The name was the best part of this beer. Not a waste of time but not buying again. You can definitely stay friends with someone that offers you one!

Smells like Fax Condi and Ginger Ale. Also tastes like Ginger Ale with old ginger, a little rotten. Not really bad but compared to other ginger beers not classy. Overly-carbonated ... Was a what the fuck moment drinking ... Not a good type one!

Sample. Pours clear amber colour. Minimal bubbly head fades in a few seconds. No lacing. Weak carbonation. Aroma: mint, caramel, coke, spicy. Flavour is brown sugar sweet, spiciness, ginger burn. Ginger hot aftertaste. Not very complex but it was a nice experience to try. Easy-drinking ale also suitable for consumption during Christmas holidays.

Pours clear light amber with a medium white head. Aroma of ginger, some caramel. Tastes sweet and a bit ginger bitter. Palate is ginger hot, medium carbonation, medium body. An ordinary ginger ale with some alcohol. Yuck...

Just like a ginger ale but with alcohol, a unique experience even though it will probably be a one off

Bottle. 4.2%. Best before 11.07.17. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Good lacing. Citrus and ginger aroma, with a hint of apple at first; as it warms, the apple note increases, overshadowing the citrus. Further warming brings out a light cooked vegetable note. Flavour is sweet with apple and ginger, and a light caramel note in the background, giving it a somewhat candy-like resemblance. Ginger finish with a mild to medium bite. Lingering apple and light caramel notes. Overall decent; not too one-dimensional on the ginger side; the apple note matches the ginger well. But also cloying. 29.08.16.
