Pasteurised Bottle. A cask version did appear in 2001 @ 3.7% Goliath: The Beer to slay a mighty thirst. A full bodied & robust ruby bitter brewed with Pale & Crystal Malts, with a rich malty taste & a hefy wack of Fuggles & Goldings hops, just the beer to slay that thirst...

pours hazy medium dark golden orange with a small off-white head, some retention and lacing. caramel and spicy faint maltiness, lean fruitiness - few yellow fruits, faint nuttiness, shy and clean english yeastiness, grass, pepper, hint of sulfur, slightly earthy. moderate to low carbonation, light body - watery, short and almost bland herbal-grassy finish. weak bitter without flaws.

Ihan erilainen kuin bitteristä luulisi. Varmasti mahtava Janojuoma. Jotenkin sellainen viikinkiolut.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis’ mom! Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt yeast and a little resin varnish. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery hop palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Láhev 500 ml. Aroma je příjemné, kvasnicové, sladké s lehkým ovocným nádechem. Pěna je světle hnědá, jemná nízká a nedržící. Barva samotného piva je opálová, a kalná. Chuť je velmi výrazná, připomíná sladké oříšky s lehkým ovocným nádechem, průběh je kvasnicový a finiš je jemně hořký a nedržící. Vcelku se jedná o velmi chutné pivo, vysoká pitelnosti, ideální na zahnání žízně.

Bottle BB Oct 2014. Orange, sparkling, small foamy white head, white lacing. Smell - malty, bread, slight rubber. Body - medium, not really foamy, carbonation is low. Taste - malty, bitter-sweet toffee, hint of under-ripe fruit, a little drying in the finish. Not bad overall.

Appearance: Clear amber/copper with 2 finger thick loose white head. Aroma: Floral, lemon, biscuit. Taste: Low/medium sweetness, low bitterness and medium sourness. Palate: Thin smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, fairly abrupt fruity, floral finish. Comments: Easy to drink, refreshing and an enjoyable session beer. Slight lace.

Bottle LCBO mixpack: Amber with big beige head that disappears quickly. Various hop content present in the nose with some bready malts. Taste is musty and mainly malty with biscuits and other grains. Hops hidden. Lacking in body and any real appeal. Prototypical Wychwood brew, unfortunately.
