Pasteurised Bottle. A cask version did appear in 2001 @ 3.7% Goliath: The Beer to slay a mighty thirst. A full bodied & robust ruby bitter brewed with Pale & Crystal Malts, with a rich malty taste & a hefy wack of Fuggles & Goldings hops, just the beer to slay that thirst...

Sweet and bubblegummy. Not spectacular but a pretty good beer. Just okay. Could be nice with more intensity of flavour.

A mid amber orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A dusty, malt aroma, biscuity sweet, with hints of oat and corn. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, light, dry malty flavours, with other cereals present, like oats, plus a wholemeal bread type of flavour. The finish is a little sweeter, rounding the final taste off.

Pours a reddish gold. Aromas of bread and grain with similar flavors. Some hops. All these wychwood beers are the same... And none of them are very good.

mid amber with white head that quickly dissipates . Fruity caramel aroma . taste starts sweet and malty then crisp hop bitterness kicks in for a dry refreshing finish . body is thin with modest carbonation . easily drinkable for a session

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2013 Pours clear amber with a small rapidly diminishing head. Aroma of malts, toffee and caramel. Taste - lightly sweet, with bread, toasted malts and caramel notes, dry bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Smooth and creamy on palate. Easy going session beer.

Bottle to pint glass. Appearance is a transparent bronze, with no head. Aroma is typical beer aroma...but the British hops/yeast really come through though it’s very plain. Taste is the same...slight caramel malt with dank earthy hops, slight fruitiness as it warms. Palate is watery, not much fizz, not much in the way of complexity. Overall this is a plain, simple thirst quencher. Not bad but quite boring.

Mild amber colour... Thin clean head. Slightly gas. Slightly bitter taste... Clean drink but overall nothing interesting...

500ml bottle courtesy of Fiona - clear amber, foamy beige head, resinous earthy malty aroma, similar flavours, bit of caramel, carbonation on the high side, moderate bitterness in the finish
