Pasteurised Bottle. A cask version did appear in 2001 @ 3.7% Goliath: The Beer to slay a mighty thirst. A full bodied & robust ruby bitter brewed with Pale & Crystal Malts, with a rich malty taste & a hefy wack of Fuggles & Goldings hops, just the beer to slay that thirst...

Appearance: Clear amber/copper with 2 finger thick loose white head. Aroma: Floral, lemon, biscuit. Taste: Low/medium sweetness, low bitterness and medium sourness. Palate: Thin smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, fairly abrupt fruity, floral finish. Comments: Easy to drink, refreshing and an enjoyable session beer. Slight lace.

Bottle LCBO mixpack: Amber with big beige head that disappears quickly. Various hop content present in the nose with some bready malts. Taste is musty and mainly malty with biscuits and other grains. Hops hidden. Lacking in body and any real appeal. Prototypical Wychwood brew, unfortunately.

Nice, refreshing beer. Cheerful drinking. Hopy, citrus and malty notes in aroma. In taste same but more citrus than hopes. Nice colour, froth quite strong.

16.4oz bottle old rating -Pours a darker golden with a small head. Aroma of malt, dough, and bread. Taste of the same with some maltish caramel thrown in there. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad.

Bottle abv 4.2% bought at Kilpishalli Finland. Deep golden to amber hazy body with an off-white to beige head. Some scents of dough, malts, hints of fruits. Malty taste, sweet caramellish hints, grains and hops in the background. Fruity on palate and tasty, not watery. Mild and sweet ending. The most sweet "bitter" I have tasted so far.

Sweet and bubblegummy. Not spectacular but a pretty good beer. Just okay. Could be nice with more intensity of flavour.

A mid amber orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A dusty, malt aroma, biscuity sweet, with hints of oat and corn. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, light, dry malty flavours, with other cereals present, like oats, plus a wholemeal bread type of flavour. The finish is a little sweeter, rounding the final taste off.
