Red-orange colour with little white head. Some faint berries in the aroma that generally isn’t impressive. The taste is sweet with some red currants and strawberries, before turning mildly bitter in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2006 Sweet malt aroma with a hint of cherry. Nice dark red/amber color. Bittersweet taste with light malt flavor but smooths out a beer warms up. Nice big bottle for sharing. Not as distinctive as other Wychwood beers.

The best Wychwood beer I've tasted or smelled. Deep, amber ale with a medium-sized, khaki head with very good lacing. Ok, so I finally run into a Wychwood that isn't skunked and it has almost no aroma. Ok, sure, lemony and malty with light butterscoth flavors up front. Well-balanced, but mostly flavorless on the backside. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and very light carbonation. Lengthy, acedic, malty and woodsy finish. Not at all a bad beer. The only one I have actually enjoyed from Wychwood thus far.
