2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Red-orange colour with little white head. Some faint berries in the aroma that generally isn’t impressive. The taste is sweet with some red currants and strawberries, before turning mildly bitter in the aftertaste.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The best Wychwood beer I've tasted or smelled.
Deep, amber ale with a medium-sized, khaki head with very good lacing.
Ok, so I finally run into a Wychwood that isn't skunked and it has almost no aroma. Ok, sure, lemony and malty with light butterscoth flavors up front.
Well-balanced, but mostly flavorless on the backside.
Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and very light carbonation.
Lengthy, acedic, malty and woodsy finish.
Not at all a bad beer. The only one I have actually enjoyed from Wychwood thus far.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Nice deep golden color with a bubbly medium rather short lasting white head. Quite a fruity aroma with some caramel. Flavour is fresh, malty with hops, fruity, rusty sweet caramel. Some bitterness in the finish. A decent beer though the rustiness is quite misfitting in the beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden with a red hue and a nice head. The aroma is like an early summer morning: fresh, floral, sunny and fruity. The flavour is round, fruity and malty. Goliath is a big beer, but in spite of that, he has a light body - and is a refreshing summer beer. The finish is rather long and nice with a light bitterness.
