1- toffee and plum. Some toast as it warms. Light hop aroma 2- dark orange to medium red, tan head with many fast rising bubbles 3- sweet toasty malt, followed by a medium citrus bitterness. some dark fruit 4- med body with a medium carb level, finishes slightly astringent 5- a nice low alcohol session beer. I could drink a lot of these.

The beer is not clear and has a dark brown color. The foam is beige with large bubbles. The foam disappears leisurely quickly and leave fine traces. The aroma of caramel and syrup loaf. Aromas of caramel. A little beef-like notes and bread. The taste is slightly sweet and medium bitterness. Roasted notes, roasted malt, caramel. There are some nuts and spices. Easy medium body. Soft and slightly greasy. Medium carbonation.

500ml bottle, purchased at the local grovery store. Medium sweet malts, wood, herbs, soil, caramel. Hint of roasted notes. A bit thinner than the original but tasty nevertheless.

A wonderful dark colour, a good caramelly aroma and a roasted and a bit smokey taste of bread. The only real drawback is that itís slightly watery. Sure, itís not a good as the stronger variant, but itís still pretty damn good.

Erzengel (7271) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 24, 2015
Bottle from NK in Stockholm. Nice roasted caramelly beginning. Moderate bitterness with Ale-typical flavours. The body is not too watery, easy to drink and still full-bodied with a dry malty-roasted Ale-ending. Nice!

SamTheBarrel (745) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - APR 13, 2015
500ml brown bottle, poured into a pint glass. Appearance is clear dark mahogany with a medium sized frothy beige head. Aroma of caramel and syrup loaf. Flavours of caramel, nutty notes and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, soft texture and average carbonation. Overall good for a 3.5% ABV beer, but compared to the regular version this lacks body and is too light.

degbert (1589) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 12, 2014
Bottle. Pours a medium brown with red tinges and a cream-tan, fine-grained, medium head. Nose is roast grain, tea, dark fruit, and a touch of brown sugar. Mild on the tongue, with a smoky, dry round flavor; thereís a little dark fruit in there, but mostly itís somewhere between strong tea and weak coffee. Clean enough on the finish. Itís an average bitter; nothing bad about it, but nothing memorable, either.

500ml bottle shared with djoeye. Fawn coloured head with good lacing on top of a clear copper coloured body. Mild aroma of dark bread and dried fruits. Malt-fruity taste, hints of nuts and mid-sweet caramel malts. Dried fruity backbone. Short roasted malty end. Thin to medium bodied. Worth buying and drinking(TromsÝ 05.12.2014).
