Traditionally Crafted Legendary Ruby Beer.
Hobgoblin is strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.
The ruby red coloured Hobgoblin is full-bodied and has a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity character.

Tap in London. A nice hobby beer, with a good colour, and good head. Nice rounded beer.

Deep ruby red ale with a creamy off-white lasting head. Looks pretty good in a glass. Malt dominated nose, with little in the way of hop character. Nice enough, but not enough interest.

AROMA: chocolate, caramel, hint of licorice, roasty APPEARANCE: brown, clear, minimal head TASTE: medium sweetness, lightly bitter PALATE: light body, thin feel, soft carbonation OVERALL: aromas are quite faint and the thin palate makes this beer miss the mark.

On tap at King’s Head W2. Deep colour with red-purple tinge in the depths. Smooth, fruity and malty on the palate with a hint of bitterness cutting through into the not overly long finish. Pleasant dark bitter.

Någonstans mellan brown ale och premium ale. Mer malt än humlekaraktär. Fruktig och blommig med nötter, karamell och skogspromenad i smakbilden. Bra! Kommer mer till sin rätt på fat. Alla smaker djupare, munkänslan lenare. Drucken på the Spread Eagle, Liss, Hampshire, UK

From a cask in London. It came in the glass dark copper color with a small white head. Good nose of malts and nuts. Body medium and mouthfeel creamy smooth with low carbonation. Flavor of caramel malts and nuts. Bitter finish. Easy drinking

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive light brown foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear brown color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a roasted malty touch . This beer smells malty.
