Served freezing cold with plenty of carbon dioxide. And I mean plenty! A slight bottled UK-beer taste, bit sharp with toffee and a spicy aftertaste. Drinkable.

Faint caramel malt nose. Nice dark brown-amber color, but the head is thin/flat to non-existent. Lovely rich sweet maltiness that fades to a non-unpleasant dryness. Seems even a little tangy 30 seconds later. Not overly impressive, but this pint went down very pleasantly.

I truly love this beer. I like especially the fact that it comes in a larger bottle. Pours a nice dark cherry brown and dispite the slight bitter edge it is quite smooth. Nice caramel and chocolate malt smell.

Pours a hazy brown, nice white head. Kind thin and watery, with a nutty brown ale like taste but watered down, not much else pretty weak.

Clear dark brown body with light carbonation forming a thin slick of white foam. Caramel/chocolate mousse with light cherry fruit and nuts. Nice flavor that begins with roast and brown, smoky malt leading to spruc/stem hops and a dry woodiness. Not a bad beer, it would be neat to try a live sample.

A mostly diminushing small fizzy off-white head that tops up a clear light mahogany body. Moderate lacing. No particules. No bubbles. Aroma presents malt being light cookie and nuts (there are traces of red fruits too!) while hops are very faint grass. Yeast character is light Also, there are faint notes of saltyness and butter/toffee. Initial flavor is medium sweet while development is lighty bitter (but still salty and sweet.. odd). Finish is short . Light body... watery texture... Soft carbonation...

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2007 Pours dark nut brown w/ a full, semi creamy froth that slowly reduces to a nice, full lace. Aroma of slightly roasted malt and tree bark. Medium nectar w/ ample, creamy residual effers. Dry and bitter w/ roasted malts. Flavors of tree bark, roasted coffee bean, leather, slight bitter bakers cocoa. The finish has a stern roasted bittering. Drinks better as it warms. Says wychwood on the bottle. Maybe thats the kind of wood I taste, Wychwood...baugh!
