Tap. Nut brown, small beigish head. Nose is syrupy, malty, sliightly candyish and earthy hay. Flavor is sweetish, syrupy with a bit of gingerbread. Not bad. Some roastiness.

Not too bad. I like the way the bottle looks and the color of the ale as well. Nice and dark with a little red in it (cherry wood as my gf says). I can smell hints of malts, nuts, and something of a fruity scent. Has that nut brown ale flavor to it with with something a little sweet in it. Aftertaste is pretty smooth making this an enjoyable brew.

Wow, this stuff is bad. Pours a dark red/brown with little to no head. Aroma is medium, with malt, roastiness, coffee, and some hops. Flavor is not good. Unpleasant bitterness, soured coffee mixed with hops. Some maltiness in the background. Short, watery finish. Avoid.

Pours a dark amber with medium off-white head. Roasted malts on the nose, malty and coffee/chocolate on the finish. Not bad, but probably not quite worth the price I paid for it.

Pours a dark brown w/slight reddish tint, almost like a cola. Beige head goes flat instantly. Malty nose with some banana bread. Caramel and chocolate flavor. But there’s something else in it that I can’t describe. Like an artificial taste. I don’t like it, and it drags this way down. Short after-taste. This stuff tries, I mean it really tries. But that unusual taste in the backdrop is killing it.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown with reddish hue. Tall light beige head that clings to the glass. Nutty rich münchener malt aroma. Earthy hops. Smooth texture. Fine carbonation. Powdery malt flavours. Slightly roasted and sweet. Almost vinous. Reminds me a little of the character one finds in Old Peculier. Nice and very drinkable.
