Bottle. Looks dark amber with a light brown, foamy head. Aroma has some sweet malts, toffee or coffee smell? It does have somewhat of a bitter-sweet flavor, with perhaps some caramel. Pretty watered down and boring though.

Nice brown pour with a tan colored head. I smell malt, dried fruit and grains for sure. Flavor is nutty and a tad sweet. This is fun to drink just because of the game...but if you are wondering how great it is? Well after 4 or 5 beers in your local British pub it will taste just fine!!!

Bottle, thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a deep dark amber with beige head, good retention, laced the glass. Aroma of dark fruit and caramel, cereal. Flavor is some raison and caramel, semi sweet, with a nice bitter in the end. Good stuff!

Nice dark amber color with a pleasant smell. Slight bitter taste but it leaves a nice aftertaste of caramel. Would like to try this on tap, to taste the difference. Drinkable, but not too many at a time...

i’m very much so starting to regret my little wychwood expedition today. This is no better. watery, unbalanced, and odd in a bad way. this one smells bad to start with, is oddly sweet and watery in the middle and abrubtly non-exsistent at the end...

Bottled. A malty and fulfilling aroma. The flavour is malty and chocolate.

Clear brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts, sweet malts and earthy hops. Taste of more the same – mostly sweet though finishes somewhat bitter.

Dark ruby color with a tan head. Chocolate aroma. Taste smooth with a hint of bitterness. Solid flavor, but nothing exciting.
