Bottle 12oz. Interesting…I assumed I was drinking a Schwartz bier. Good either way. Nice clear brown with hints of amber. Light malty grain with bits of toastiness. The flavor is, again, loaded with toasty grain, hints of burnt caramel, and earthy hops. Its not complex but it is enjoyable. Semi-dry mouth feel at the finish though it is generally wet. An easy to drink brew.

Big fan of this beer. Poors a ruby brown that is llightly cloudy. It taste to me like a brown ale with a hint of raspberry that has been smoked. The body is medium with a clean slighy bitter finish.

A nice looking red, smells of fruit certainly palpable. Medium hoppiness, but very weak on the palate- not complex at all.

ESB... really? This is not your typical premium bitter. Very dark and very rich, but extremely drinkable. Aroma is hops with a bit of a nutty quality. Flavours of fruity malt with a nice earthly hop content. Unique.

Pours a darkish brown with decent tan head. Aroma of caramel, breadiness, some fruit. Solid bitter.

bottle- pours brown with dark tones mahogony maybe? smells spicy tasted malts and grass. taste is bitter but not in a nice hoppy way. it is bitter in a tangy metallic way. if this beer didnt taste so tainted it would be really nice. almost worth the 5 for £4 special at lidl.

Rich brown color; significan lingering head. Earth, cardboard, malt and carob aroma. Roasty malts, bread, bitter nuts and hops. Moderate body with some bitter and mineral notes in the finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a dull mahogany with an ample tan head. Malty nose with a touch of fruit. Roasty malt profile balanced by an adequate bitterness.
