I’ll make this somewhat short because I really don’t feel like it deserves my time. It, to be honest, tasted like licking a combination of beer sediment and well bombardier off my bathroom mirror.

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Hobgoblin in Baker Street. Looks ok, dark amber colour with a decent off white head. Sadly it’s all dramatically downhill from there. Lifeless and watery in the mouth. Bland flavour and what is detectable, is pretty awful. One of the worst beers I have had in a while.

Pours a medium to dark coper with a smallish light tan head. Aroma of hops carried through in the taste. Brisk and refreshing but large quantities would be really boring

Bottle. Amber with a decent, off-white head. This beer didn’t stand out for me. Fruity aroma and flavour, with a slightly bitter finish. Very run-of-the mill.

Rated 7/18/07. Clear brownish-amber body with a thin white film for a head. Leaves behind a nice thick lacing all the way down the glass. This beer, looks good, but the aroma and flavor just fall flat. The aroma is almost non-existant. If you really inhale deeply, you can pick up some smokey malts, but not very much. Likewise, the flavor is just flat. All I can pick up is a bit of mild caramel malts, smoke, and a bit of hop bitterness. The flavors are muted and muddled together. The body is watery, making it easy drinking, but why bother? This is a very boring brew.

A very strong Beer. Very tasty, but not for the average Joe. It is bitter, and malty. Slight fruitiness.

Reddish brown in color with a light tan head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is nutty with notes of malt and chocolate. Flavor is mildly sweet with notes of roasted malt/nut. Finish is mild and melow, slight bitterness.
