500ml bottle, $3.59. Aroma is of sweet malts with white wine notes. Average sized off-white, mostly diminishing head gave average lacing. Dark red/brown, clear, body. Flavor is weak, burnt malts and bitterness on the short finish. Palate is watery and light bodied. Aroma is not bad and flavor was ok but this beer is WAY overpriced!! Maybe $3.59 for a six pack but not for this. The first time I’ve ever included value in my overall rating but this pissed me off. This beer in on par with Bass ale for crying out loud. Usually I put in the price for others and my own shopping reference.

Bottle: and first of the day! Nuyk nuyk. Minimal head. A very pretty ruby in the glass. Does not seem like 5.2%. Light body mixed with maltiness and some caramelish tonesfinishes smooth with a bit of tin

Pours what appears to be a dark brown color but is really a deep deep red when you hold it up to light, with a small light brown head that lasts for a while. Aroma is almost non-existant, but slightly of hops. Flavor is bitter, but rather malty, and slightly fruity. Mid to low carbonation leaning to the low side.

Can. Pours a clear, deep red/brown. Creamy off-white/beige head. Sweet, crisp hoppy aroma on a remote malty background. Slight metallic and plastic notes appear as it warms. Sweetish and crisp hoppy flavour. Citrus notes. Sweetish-bitter finish. A bit dry and sourish. Notes of apple. Faint cigarette-like smoked notes. 19-05-07.

Appearance: reddish amber. Medium head, beige, medium persistence. Aroma: Sweet and fruity. Notes of old wine, reminiscences of tofee, candy, sweet chocolate and cherries. Low smell of hop. Flavor: Fruity in the beginning, that progresses in a slight bitterness of hop. Flavor of medium complex, notes of sweet wine, candy, toffe, nut and hop. Final with agreeable dryness. Palate: Medium Body, viscous texture. Medium carbonation. Very drinkable and aromatic. (sorry for my english)

roasted caramel flavor. seems cheap and of an imitation variety. smooth but too thin. hop what? it may be well balanced then perhaps unbalanced may be the way to go. carbonation is of no interest. life’s too short to try it agan.
