Bottle from the Winking Lizard. Smelled a bit like apple cider. Taste was very light, malt, citrus, fruits, caramel, with just enough bitter finish to entertain you. Nothing spectacular, but very drinkable!

The aroma was strong, mainly hops but also apple and vinegar. Ochre colored with a medium off white head and no lacing. Tastes of roasted malts, medium hops and slightly bitter. Undeniably apple on the palate. Excellent for the genre and very drinkable.

aroma of english hops, sweet malt, slight caramel, and faint dried fruit. flavour is much of the same, with a nice bitterness in the finish, and the malt really comes out. this is a decent bitter, nice and enjoyable.

WOOOW was my first words the first time I had this beer! It was the first British beer ever and probably one of the first 5 beers on my journey into the world of beers. I never tasted anything but lagers before - and I had a real hard time understanding that this was a beer!!! This unconditional love lasted several months, but has since then faded somewhat. It’s still a charming beer, that is easy to drink - but it’s not outstanding as such. The color is dark amber and the head is nice. The aroma is very malty with hints of fruit. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, a light sweetness and a becoming bitterness.

Rather mundane in a sense, but easily a session beer to get one started on a heavy night of banter and football cheers. not that wussy NFL garbage...Arsenal owned FcC, though they both lacked the play they are expected of.

Wow. I thought I had had this one before. Was quite surprised at how well it tasted. Just the right amount of bittnerness. Someone at MLCC made a good choice finally. Almost as good as Piscators homemade ESB (which I am almost out of - nudge nudge)
