Sweet caramel aroma with golden brown appearance. Flavor of caramel and some light hops in the finish, but sweet, like Newcastle. Palate was somewhat creamy. Another typical English offering, too samey, but not bad, just boring.

bottle, pours a deep ruby red with a thin to medium off white head. Aroma is very bready with a nutty character sitting beside a carmel malt base. Light bodied beer, starts with a sweet toasted malt flavor that fades to a nicely balanced bitter nut and light hop end that lingers for a second. Very easy to drink and refreshing.

Aroma: Light bitter malt aroma with some hops in the backing.
Appearance: Golden yellow in color, hazy with a fluffy head.
Flavor: The bittering flavors where subtle but present. Liked the malt and hops balance. This was a nice dark ale with some fruit like qualities.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: A nice Dark English ale. This had some great flavors. I was impressed with this brew.

Weak nutty aroma and roasted malt. Pours dark ruby-brown. Flavor is roasted malt on the front balanced with hops towards the finish. Light carbonation, somewhat creamy mouthfeel. A little watery and weak in the end. East to drink, but not much to get excited about.
