Ryan82SM (231), Louisville, Kentucky, USA May 10, 2009 Sweet caramel aroma with golden brown appearance. Flavor of caramel and some light hops in the finish, but sweet, like Newcastle. Palate was somewhat creamy. Another typical English offering, too samey, but not bad, just boring. thejon375 (390), Tampa, Florida, USA May 9, 2009 Pours dark amber with medium tan head. Aromas of caramel and roasted peaches. Tastes of malt with a slightly bitter finish. Pinball (2685), Allerød, Denmark May 9, 2009 bottle at cafe globen, cph.

Aroma is very bready with a nutty character sitting beside a carmel malt base. Light bodied beer, starts with a sweet toasted malt flavor that fades to a nicely balanced bitter nut and light hop end that lingers for a second. Very easy to drink and refreshing. shawnm213 (882), South Bend, Indiana, USA May 5, 2009 bottle. pours amber with a small head. sweet, caramel, plum, bread. some bitterness. Aroma: Light bitter malt aroma with some hops in the backing.
Appearance: Golden yellow in color, hazy with a fluffy head.
Flavor: The bittering flavors where subtle but present. Liked the malt and hops balance. This was a nice dark ale with some fruit like qualities.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: A nice Dark English ale. This had some great flavors. I was impressed with this brew.
l1br4r14n (274), Washington, Washington DC, USA May 2, 2009 Weak nutty aroma and roasted malt. Pours dark ruby-brown. Flavor is roasted malt on the front balanced with hops towards the finish. Light carbonation, somewhat creamy mouthfeel. A little watery and weak in the end. East to drink, but not much to get excited about.
