Clear bottle. Not skunky!. Nice brown color with thin, but lasting head. Slightly fruity aroma, with a certain maltyness. Pleasant malty flavor that reminds me of Octoberfest beers. I really enjoyed this. Much better than many typically made American equivalents.

Pours a dark brown ale with a small, quick-dissapearing head. Faint malty aroma of caramel. Nutty, currant molasses flavours. Full-bodied beer, but still very smooth. Nice label too. Bottle.

Bottle 12oz. Interesting…I assumed I was drinking a Schwartz bier. Good either way. Nice clear brown with hints of amber. Light malty grain with bits of toastiness. The flavor is, again, loaded with toasty grain, hints of burnt caramel, and earthy hops. Its not complex but it is enjoyable. Semi-dry mouth feel at the finish though it is generally wet. An easy to drink brew.

Bottle, Tesco. Dark copper with abundant rosy cream head. Dark bread aroma, soft chocolate a bit of the smell of having been outdoors. A nice warm sort of smell. Very soft caramel, lightly sweet, a mix of gentle roast and restrained hop bitterness play around the edges. Subtle, pleasant beer. A surprise.

A bottle, bought from a Victoria Wine in Liverpool. Dark chocolaty Brown colour. Nice & malty with a good strong taste. An excellent bottled beer.

NOt really my type. It was dark, and with an ale colour, like the New Castle one. BUt it was too hopy, unnacesary, perhaps. Almost no foam, and tiring too.

Apperance is a very dark copper in color, with a off white to tan head that dissapated very fast. Some lacing on sides of the glass. Smell is of a low malt with a somewhat nutty aroma present. Taste was excellent, somewhat of a malty carmel flavor. Little or no bitter aftertaste. Very moderate in carbonation. Drinkability is excellent, will drink this again.

A nice dark beer with a thin head. Very rich and malty flavor with some slight chocolate notes. Wychwoods signature beer is one to try but not my personal favorite from them.
