Pint bottle. I generally like the English Ales, and this is no exception. I noted some mentioned it was pretty bitter, but after having a stout and a porter that were quite bitter, this didn’t seem so bad. Deep ruby color, white head that quickly disappeared, hint of caramel, and an aroma that strikes me as English Tea. Not bad at all.

Deep reddish brown, clear and lovely. Thin active off white head with ringy lacing. Subtle smell of hops, barley, oak. Smells dry. Flavor is sweet yet not cloying with a savory full finish. Delicious. Creamy with a full body.

Pours a dark amber red with no head. The aroma is dried fruit, with notes of apricot, most noticable during the pour. The flavor is again, of some dried fruits, and strong hops, I felt the malts were a little too subtle, but maybe thats just me. The palat is not bad, nothing special, but nothing to complain about, carbonation i guess is a little strong, but thats about it. All and all a decent beer.

Dark amber with roasty malts aroma. Balanced hops & malts with hints of black berries. Farily smooth front to finish with a nice body.

Deep amber/brown color. Short bubbly head. Slightly bittern with a little tickle from carbonization, went down smooth.

I had this on draft at Churchill’s in Savannah. Pours dark brown and has a nice head and aroma. I like this beer and have found it in bottles in Florida so I’m a happy man.

Not too bad. I like the way the bottle looks and the color of the ale as well. Nice and dark with a little red in it (cherry wood as my gf says). I can smell hints of malts, nuts, and something of a fruity scent. Has that nut brown ale flavor to it with with something a little sweet in it. Aftertaste is pretty smooth making this an enjoyable brew.
