Nice British ale. Strong malt with a hint of chocolate and bright fruit (strawberry, green apple?) some citrus hop flavor, goes down nice. Can be a bit skunky but overall a good beer.

Dark black/brown beer with a light brownish creamy head. Thick root dirt smell is totally diffrent from the rich sweet taffey malt flavor. It also has caramel tons.

One of mine "all-time favourites". Nice and smooth and great overall. Sweet, roasty, smooth, bitter and very tasty brew.

Smooth, malty flavor with a nice, bitter bite. Beautiful head that sticks around.

Cool bottle aroma of milk chocolate, sour milk and toffee. Average head nice brown body. Sweet flavor, however mouthfeel was too watery. Nice session.

Bottle. Ruby brown color with hints of orange and topped by a thin white head. Decent smell of hops and some chocolate malt. Taste is just plain great! Starts with some dull coffee flavors and ends nicely with some sweet fruit for an extra bonus. A bit watery though but still darn freakin good.

500 ml bottle poured into a Hobgoblin pint glass. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized long lasting off white head. It has a cola and nut aroma along with the aroma of malt. It tastes of nut, coffee, cola, brown sugar and date with a little taste of earth and vegetables. I’m almost 100% certain that this is a brown ale and not a ESB like ratebeer says it is. This is a pretty good beer in my opinion. I’m pretty sure I’ll drink this one again.
