I have never had anything by this brewer before. I tried this one on draft at Pipers Pub in Pittsburgh. It poured a very dark red-brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was sweet and hoppy with a bit of citrus noted. The flavor was fruity (apple and citrus), tart, and had a hint of spice. This was a rather enjoyable draft. I will now have to track down the bottle.

Tapped at Old Chicago in Rockford. Thin head, but a brown pour. Sweet malts on nose. Impressive malty flavor, a bit nutty, and filling.

Bottled. Poors a small head. Beautiful amber colour. Aromas of caramel, plums. Taste of hay-like hops, roasty malt, caramel, some chocolate presence. Hoppy finish. I like the artwork too. Good beer.

500ml bottle poured a clearbrown with a small but lasting amber head. Aromas of grain, carmel, toffee and a hint of cherries. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, toasted malt, toffee and a bit of fruittiness with a crisp, clean finish.
