A good english ale that seemed to be resistant to the clear bottle curse. English ales seem to fare better than mexican ones. Good smooth and sweet taste. Nice fruity-hops aroma. Good dark amber color. A very fine beer.

A brownish red strong ale with little head retention. Rather sweet and chocolatey for an English strong but decent none the less. Could be a little stronger and could use more body, somewhat thin. Very drinkable, I agree.

Reddish brown in color with a light tan head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is nutty with notes of malt and chocolate. Flavor is mildly sweet with notes of roasted malt/nut. Finish is mild and melow, slight bitterness.

Clear orange-red body, thin/medium buff-colored head. Leafy hops aroma with tobacco leaf notes, brown sugar, fig, and pastry. The flavor resembles a red wine with plenty of tannins (teabags), cigar smoke, chocolate, brown sugar, grapes, raisin/tobacco and spicy/perfumey hops. Perhaps a bit sweeter than it should be (bordering on cloying). Still a solid brew.

Reddish color, fluffy, easily dying head. Soft and bitter with caramelly and roasty notes. The label is greater...

Drinks very easily, sweat juicy roasted malt flavours saturate the crimson brown ale. It also helps that you can get it everywhere here.

500ml Bottle. Familiar Wychwood smell when the bottle is opened. Pours a dark brown, with a smallish creamy head. A sweet, possibly chocolatey taste detected, some hoppiness as well. Not bad, not a classic though.
