This beer is spot on! It pours a dark ruddy/cloudy copper colour and has a finger and a half or so of head which disippates quickly. Grassy, earthy hop aroma...This beer is loaded with english hops (Challenger, maybe FUGGLES??) which marries nicely with caramelly, toffee flavored malts. I believe I can taste a hint of complex Maris Otter malts. This brewer knew what he was up to - this beer is extremely well balanced. Overall taste is wonderful in this medium bodied, low to moderately carbonated, smooth drinking beer. This beer would pair wonderfully with an array of fine foods - or just by itself. Brewed with the spring water drawn from the headsprings of the Otter River, this beer has become a regular in my portfolio.

Bottiglia da 0,50. Birra dal gusto molto affumicato. Schiuma scarsa e poco persistente. Gusto corposo e fortemente legnoso. Gradazione media con finale forte e deciso. Forse troppo alcoolica. Consiglio 7/10

Dark red/brown colour. Aroma mainly of malt and hops, not much of anything else. Mild flavour of malt and caramel with hints of fruit and chocolate. Bittersweet aftertaste.

quando me l’hanno stappata davanti avevo una sete boia, perciò vi posso dire che comunque il suo l’ha fatto, poi non addentriamoci in sciocchi commenti inutili...

Fairly dark for an ESB. Bottle to glass with a thinner head and a medium to darker caramel pour. Nose is plenty of caramel and sweeter malts with some biscuit qualities. Some nice pleasant notes or spicy hops and mild citrus that’s muted but noticeable. Smooth and respectably easy drinking. I dig it.

Clear reddish colour. Toast and malted barley aroma. More of the same on the palate with a bit more sweetness and corn mash than expected. Nothing special

#300 rating. Poured from a large bottle. Appearance is a deep copper color with white head. Aroma is toffee, raisin, and orange. Palate is medium. Taste is nice toffee and malt biscuit flavors, with a tinge of raisins like a port, maybe a hint of chocolate. Pretty good, something different.
