Aroma of toffee and caramel. Pours medium brown with light tan Lacey head. Flavor of caramel and lightly roasted barley. Very little bitterness in the bottle I had. Best served 50-60°F Any colder and it become very bland.

Crystal clear dark ruby pour with a short off-white head that sticks around a little. The nose on this reminds me of county fairs. There’s this red fruit thing dominating that I can’t quite identify. Raspberry preserve? Slightly candied. There’s a light toffee note there too. There’s this red licorice sort of thing on the palate with that same hint of toffee. Finishes with a bit of sweetness. Very clean. This is the epitome of average to me.

One of my favorites. Well-balanced hops and alcohol. Some caramel and fruit notes. Bitter finish. Great appearance - ruby. Maybe not so good in aroma, but taste does matter! Definitely recommended.
