Pours red with an off-white head. Smells of raspberries, roasted malt, and subtle caramel. The flavours are similar, but bigger. It tastes of raspberries, has a strong plum flavour, slight hop bitterness and a roasted malt finish - very balanced. Clean on the palate despite the big flavours.

Thanks Rod. In a bottle, pleasant bitter. Nice chocolate and toffee notes. Then we go to dark fruits sweetness. Cool bottle.

Bottled. Dark brown/red colour with a white head that dissipates quickly. Soft well balanced ale with malty caramel (not too sweet, but not bitter) flavour. Easy to drink and very sessionable. Feels well engineered.

loud fizzy head that dissipates in a swiss cheese fashion, leaving large craters. Very nice golden brown color with a sweet honey like aroma and a taste that follows and hangs around as fast as you can say, "that’s good". would have liked a bit more of a finish, but a pretty good beer.

apples and honey - spicy aroma - sweet - refreshing - the fruit keeps coming - cider-y. This is a winner!

Bottle. Nice, heavy malt aroma. Grassy hops and grape malts. A little astringency to this one kind of scuttles things.

pours a deep cloudy murky oarnge with a finger thick beige head that was a little frothy. the body is murky brown with some light penetration on the edges. the aromas are fruity and slightly malty with some notes of caramel and little toffee as well. it is medium bodied and a little sandy across the tongue and high in carbonation. is is slightly sweet with bitter chocolate and caramel candys in the mix with a light undertone of roasted malts and buttered pecans. it is also prety bitter in the finish but still nice and almost perfectly balanced. it is a little watery also when it finishes and the aftertaste is soft and light.
