A much heavier hitter than the Hobgoblin, that strength adds a great new deeper darker taste

You can really taste the full moon....okay, so you can’t, but this is okay. A fairly enjoyable brew but it suffers from the same thing that all Wychwood beer seem to have, a very watery body. Vanilla, caramel, raisin and brown bread comprise a rather cloying aroma. Fortunately there are just enough herbal hops to reign the sweetness in. Overall, this is an okay tasting clear ruddy amber brew with a sweet finish.
