3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
King Goblin 500mL, unfortunately out of the bottle.
Skunk, straw, English hops. Sweet with a bitter alcoholy finish. Medium bodied, silky and creamy. On occasion, I love me a nice hobgoblin, but this just doesn't seem to be worth the effort and elevated price. Solid, but not spectacular.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had many times, not sure how I missed reviewing. Clear copper pour with quickly disappearing off-white top. Aromas are bread and caramel. The malt makes up most of the flavor, very smooth and semi-sweet. Really balanced, with a clean, somewhat dry finish. I really like this stuff.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 500 ml. Rich in taste and aroma, strong roasted and caramel notes, hoppy and malty bitterness, yet again the English style beers do not convince me entirely.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very nice... ruby, fragrant, tasteful... softly gasified. Not intrusive but still gives the impression.

A nice twist on an old favorite. Rich and complex malt flavours mingle with caramel, bread, mollasses, etc.

LCBO bottle. Clear deep reddish brown, solid cap of white foam. Smells like and English ale, malty, fruity, bready, caramel. Taste follows, soft carbonation. Traces of alcohol present. Decent.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a beautiful dark ruby red. Tastes similar to the regular goblin, but a bit maltier. Palate has a little funkiness at the back end, but overall a good beer.
