Bottled, 500ml from Morrisons in Banbury. Copper with off white head. Big malty beer with a light, metallic, tinny note, slightly boiled hints, but these give a touch of depth to this beer. Dry leafy notes and a lashing of caramel, its really quite easy on the palate. O.k.

bottle. trade with papsoe. clear brown amber, loarge smooth light brown to beige head. Aroma is pretty strange (not bad) flowers, honey, syrup, caramel, herbs and spcies that adjust the flowery note with something sort of citrussy or limey. a very full and solid aroma, although not powerfull (english beer after al) . flavor is nutty bitter, caramel, flowers, honey. a rather bitter flavor, with subltle notes of sweetness, caramel, herbs, flowers. bitterness manages to round it up just shy of being cloying. okay beer.
