Dark amber color with beige head. Caramel Malt aroma. Sweet caramel flavors with robust malt flavors. Slight hop in finish. Nice brew

Dobre i wyraziste piwo o pięknej puszystej pianie, ale niestety szybko opada. Kolor rubinowo czerwony. A smak goryczkowo-wytrawny i intensywny. Piwo ciekawe bo ważone o pełni księżyca, nie wiem czy to miało jakiś znaczący wpływ na smak ale fajna ciekawostka. Alkochol wogóle niewyczuwalny.

... Lost original rating... Exceptionally nice ale. Like a more intense, deeper, richer Hob Goblin.

Very rich aroma like an oaky red wine. Texture is really smooth and rich. Well balanced malty, fruitiness. Nice sticky, sweet fruity taste.

I always enjoy English Strong ales and Hobgoblin is a favourite anyway. This beer takes the flavours a step further. Vinous, fruity aromas hint at berries, toffee and liquorice. An initially treacley taste gives way to a really well rounded bitterness. Silky smooth on the tongue. Excellent

Dark, flame orange coloured beer with a thick off white head. Roasted malt aroma is followed by a slightly grassy hop element. Full-bodied mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, only in reverse! The hops come through initally, resinous (which could also be put down to the alcohol), grassy, a touch citrusy and quite bitter. This is then followed by a slightly sweet, biscuity malt flavour. Both of which are present right through the long finish.

6.6% deep amber with a nice head, burnt malt aroma, very complex bitter taste (that means that I do not have the ability to describe it), very nice beer.

Was thrilled to see this beer at Grinders (Shoreline, WA) - paired wonderfully with their Meatball/Sausage Sandwich. Wonderful rich malty tones, but not heavy.

2 finger head ruby red mild/medium carbination. Smell is chocolate/toffee & hops. Taste is hobgobline but a lot stronger with the chocolate & toffee,a stronger sourness and you can tell its a BIT heavier. So a stronger & better version of Hobgobline cheer’s!~ Really good. Starts off almost like a porter or stout! :)

Very nice beer, like a stronger version of hobgoblin. Nice darkish ambery colour.
