Half-pint, cask at the Market Porter, shared with Finn. Firm off-white head on top of a clear, dark-brown coloured body. Smell of earthy malts, mid-sweet. Slightly roasted malts in flavour alongside a touch of herbal hops. Sweet and bitter on the swallow. Not diluted at all. Quite alright (London, 04.11.2012).

Aroma is a bit harsh and malty with nuts.Flavour is also malty with some metallic notes, nuts and hints of toffee. Rather malty stuff and quite rich for this ABV. A real ale version of Märzen.
