Imperial Red, Imperious deep ruby ale. Do not fear the Imperial Red who comes in peace to liberate your taste buds with his robust yet succulent beer. A toasted malt flavour balanced by a bold pronounced hop delivered in a rich russet beer. Enjoy the imperial majesty and raise the red standard in celebration.

Bottle. Tawny appearance with a medium body. Slightly roasted and surprisingly nice considering its origins. Well worth trying.

Bottled 06/07/14. A dark brown coloured beer with a white head. Malty sweet and fruity. Quite chewy. Obvious pasteurisation. Malt dominates and there’s cardboard and woody notes. Not the worst Wychwood beer ever.

Barwa rubinowa, przejrzyste. Z niewielką piana która bardzo szybko się rozpadła, dosłownie 3 fotki pstryknąłem. W smaku jest dość wytrawne, wysoko wysycone i owocowe, czerwone owoce i wisienki. .

Bottle. Clear red amber with a chunky light tan head. Nose is fruity and malty with raisins, a little lemon, a touch of plum. In the mouth, it’s warming with more plum and raisin and doughy sweet malts. The beer kind of "soothes" itself to the edges of the tongue and lingers on the palate for a decent length of time. Surprisingly decent.

Tuoksu on karamellinen ja kuivasti paahteinen. kaunis ruskea väri, lattea vaahto. Tuoksu antaa ymmärtää voimakkaampaa makua. Maku lässähtää.

Bought from local Costcutters, consumed in the comfort of my own dwelling while watching Germany v Ghana. An unattractive beer, light reddish brown with lots of carbonation. A pleasant aroma of berries, toast and wood. Taste is straightforward bittersweet from start to finish. Tasty enough but incredibly simple. Watery palette. Just ok, nothing special. Typical of Marston’s beers these days unfortunately.

Bottle 500ml. A beautiful ruby beer with a huge foamy head. It has a mild aroma. Taste is bitter, but not very strong. It is a very watery beer and in my opinion lacks character. At the end I taste nothing. Overall very disappointing beer.
