imdownthepub (9623) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2014
Bottled, 500ml from Tesco in Banbury. Red amber with slight white head. This was a slightly thin, toasty, caramelized beer, toffee, sweetish with hints of an ambiguous fruit. Really fairly disappointing after the blurb, pretty dull in fact.

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2014
(bottle) Clear, deep amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted and delicately ashy malty aroma with notes of caramel, berries and a whiff of spicy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Berry-fruity accents, mixed up with caramel and discreetly hoppy spicy; almost dry bitter-sweet finish with ashy notes and caramel. Rather mediocre. 12.III.14
