500ml bottle. Pours a clear red-amber with a medium, creamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, caramel, bread and nuts with a mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Ok, but boring.

Metallic notes, hints of red fruits, small beige head, copper, light/medium body, medium carbonation, malts, red fruits, poor taste of hop...some problems knight but ok for this time.

Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours a clear amber red with a medium off-white head. Aroma is of caramel malt with hints of bread and dark sugar. Taste is pretty much the same with caramel malt and some bready notes. Medium body with a short mild bitter-sweet finish. Good an all-around beer, not a complex one but still very pleasant and easy to drink.

Deep copper color, steady small beige head. Aroma is crystal malts and sweet berries. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, sweetish berries like strawberries. Simple amber ale which lacks hop bite totally.

[Bottle (500ml) shared with GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours a cloudy orange-amber with an average size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt and...that’s pretty much it. Flavour’s the same, just caramel malt, and an average bitter finish. Average bodied. A mediocre Red Ale.

2016-02-26. Crisp amber body with a small frothy beige head. 3+ Aroma is mild, caramel roasty malt. 6++ Flavour is a bit dry, lightly bitter over tasty malt that has an English character to it. Average bodied palate, carbonation.3+ Okay, just a touch dull and also suffers by not being what I am in the mood for. 6/3/6/3/13+ A Christmas gift from a friend, Bottle from the LCBO.
