Clean-tasting, wonderfully well-balanced beer with a subtle and appealing fruitiness in the flavor profile. I continue to be very favorably impressed with the Wychwood Brewery.

I was quite impressed by this one. Nice bronze color. Smooth tasting and quite aromatic. Another winner from Wychwood Brewery.

Good, but nothing special. I enjoyed, but nothing really stood out about it. It was lacking flavor. It seemed fairly plain. With a bad ass picture like it has on label i expected this one to have some balls.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Head quickly fades down to nothing but there is a nice, milky-reddish color to it. Sweet maltyness in the nose, reminds me vaguely of a barleywine. Faint flavors of bruised fruit. Kind of reminds me of stout in the mouth, despite all the bubbles. I like this beer. I haven’t tasted an amber quite like it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The color a transparent deep mahogany color with the head largish in size, creamy in texture and a winsome light tan in color as it ever so slowly disperses a thin veil of lace is forms to seal off the glass. Sweet malt with an almost sour apple like fragrance, crisp and clean, start is lightly sweet, middling on the malt and the top light. Finish is lenient in its acidity with the hops pleasurable in their spiciness, dry and somewhat sweet aftertaste, ah a fine English Ale, just plain drinkable.

Pour is amber with almost no head. Nose and taste of sweetness, flowers, malts and a dry finish. Rated 6/15/02

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fairly mild and pleasant. Appearance is a cloudy amber-orange, light head resulting in thin ring of foam. Orama is hoppy but something sweet in it. The taste and feel of the beer give something sweet as well. The bottle says honey, but it strikes of something else as well, but can’t put my finger on it. This beer’s consistency is slightly sticky, and on the finish you definitely get sweetness with a rather thin body/mouthfeel. Pretty fun to drink. Gets an extra overall point for the neat label.

This beer pours an interesting brown colour that is slightly transparent (You can ’see’ your hand on the other side through the beer). The head is weak, fluffy, and tannish in colour. The flavour is slightly sweet, with malt up front, and a slight sour tinge on the tongue.
