COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.

A pale golden potion with delicate red hues, WychCraft has a heady burst of fresh citrus aroma derived from three infusions of Styrian golding hops. A sprig of gentle warming malty flavour finishes with a dry biscuit note and a counterpoise of bitterness.
WychCraft’s innovative new recipe includes adding three infusions of Styrian Goldings hops to the copper, to create a highly aromatic brew, bursting with succulent citrus and lime hop character. A light base of delicately flavoured English Fuggles hops, and the use of a lager malt, help retain the signature hop character and create a wonderfully aromatic and fragrant summertime beer. Beguiling to the end.

Ingredients:
Hops: Fuggles and Styrians
Malts: Lager and Caramalt.

this bottle seemed a little fresher than most of the esb types from wychwood that have sat on the shelves at BevMos for Godknowshowlong. Outside of a cool fruity hop profile, though, it’s pretty light and forgettable. Decent refresher.

Bottle from Epsom Circle Market, Epsom, NH. Aroma is a little bit metallic, laundry hamper. Appearance is hazy light gold with mild sparkle and quickly dissipating bubbly white head. Minimal lacing. Taste is lightly bitter and maybe a little sour. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and carbonation level just above flat. Finish is wet but virtually tasteless. Overall, can’t really think of a reason to drink this beer other than it has a cool bottle cap, label and bottle.

This stuff was my first of Wychwood and have had several since, amazing summer drink. It packs a very lively spring fresh scent of grass, Grapes and mild lemon. Pours an okay pumpkin blonde, cloudy before settling to clear with a decent level white foamy head. On the Palette is bears a light, bubbly carbonated feel that is a little on the sticky side. Lovely, well balanced, if a little mild, highly refreshing, with Extra bursts of Green grape, some lemongrass, hoppy and grainy. Bears a crisp, long finish leaving the mouth feeling slightly tingly. Pleasant Blonde Ale.

Smells of caramel, yogurt, sugar, dough, traces of sweet oranges. Tastes earthy with some underlying nuttiness. Mouthfeel is surprisingly hoppy. Finish is mildly bitter with some peppery splashes.

*Old rating, best before 30 Sep 11. Smooth and nice blond Ale. Hints of grain, slightly dry with a nice herbal hop characteristic. Fresh and slightly grainy, but round. Nice bitter-herbal ans Ale typical aftertaste. Nice!

Bottle from old backlog notes. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a medium sized fluffy off white head. The aroma and flavor have biscuity malt, floral notes, light citrus, lightly toasted, some butterscotch character, very average stuff.

Oh yes! Served nicely chilled and you have a winner. Been waiting to try this a while and think it’s a very good drink, tasty and lasting in flavour. Cheers!
