Bottles from Capone’s and Frank Smith’s. Pours clear chardonnay colored. Nose is perfumy Bartlett pear. Tastes of tart apple, Bartlett pear. Fruity finish.

Light yellow color with no head just lots of bubbles. Aroma of cut pears or apples, nothing outstanding its just there, and not much at all. Its sweet not a lot of flavor, again apple or pear I just cant tell. Its funny calling this a “hard” cider since everything about it is so weak. I see no reason to buy this.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent light (almost clear) gold with light carbonation. Smells and tastes of pear with a nice, lively mouthfeel. I like this one better than their Dry Apple Cider.

Pours very light. Aroma is sweet sugar, with a pear flavor tha follows. Light drinking, but a bit watered down. Slightly flat. Not bad, but nothing special.

My first Perry is a dud of epic proportions. Weak and watery. Nearly the same color as water. A bottle of Duvel has far better pear notes without even using pears. I’ve drank soda pop that had more gusto than this Perry. Even though this was a random pick in a mixed sixer, I still feel like I deserve a free bowl of soup to get my money’s worth. Oh wait..this swill is made in Canada? No surprise there! The only reason I’m not drain pouring this kiddie drink is because it’s been a long time since I had a can of Sprite.

Pours water-clear with thin white ring and infsed bubbles. Scent is subtle...pear and sugar.. Very sweet taste, pear and some green apple. Tasty, but incredibly sweet.

Almost clear out of the bottle with no head. There were large bubbles that formed on the side of my glass, but that just made it look a little sad. Big sweet sugary nose with pears in it. This is sweet, sweet, sweet. Make your teeth hurt sweet. It is like drinking a pixie stick. Flavors of pear and green apple and grape juice. If you like sweet, here you go....

Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine on 9/11/12. Clear, very light yellow, almost no color with no head. Aroma of apple, pear and sweet white wine. Flavor is pear and apple juice with a spritz of seltzer.

bottle - Pours clear with no head and an obvious pear aroma. The pear taste is sweet and it’s light bodied with a mildly dry finish. Decent.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear (the clearest I have seen) with very small white head. A little lacing, thin body, no carbonation, and nice pear aroma. Taste is light pear and cane sugar. A little too simple.
