Clear with a fair amount of carbonation. Aroma is light pear, tart. Flavor is lightly tart pear. Not much here but it is pretty much as advertised.

12 oz bottle. My bottle says this is made in Vermont, not Canada. That’s the only reason I bought this, to get my first rating from the state of Vermont. I already have B.C., Canada! 4% ABV. This is my first perry, so bear with me. Pours completely clear. Looks like water in my beer glass. Headless with a persistent little white ring of foam. Aroma is pears, naturally, but it’s pretty unobtrusive. Taste is sweet and tart with a dry finish. Medium-high carbonation. Seems a little simplistic but it’s not bad.

almost looks like water, if i worked in a bar and wanted to drink on the clock, i would drink this with ice and a lemon to make it look like i was drinking water, no bubbles, no head... white winey aroma, light apple pear aroma, light sweetness... sweet, much sweeter than expected.. one dimensional, light body, easy drinking... one dimensional...
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 cracklefish (91) - Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Pint draft. Light light pear on the nose. Lady almost gave it to me for free cause she thought it was water from the bar. Flavor is super soft and sweet. Aftertaste holds the pear. Initially reminded me of fruit syrup out of a can. Good thing it is dry and drinkable. Could use a marachino cherry to bring it full circle. Works well with this bicycle ride.

Drank right out of the bottle. Aroma is pear. Flavor is sweet pear. Carbonation level seems above average. For the second cider I was able to actually drink and enjoy, not bad.

The pour on this is amazing (not necessarily in a good way). Almost clear with just a tint of green. Lots of pear aroma with a definite sugar sweetness to it. A bit of pear juice and pear skin aroma as well. The flavor is sweet pear juice with a hint of skins. A moderate sugar flavor, and it’s actually not terribly over-sweetened. Light in body with a crisp carbonation.
1.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 BlackSwan (23) - Frisco (Dallas), USA - MAY 1, 2011
Pours a light yellow body with a spare fizzy head. Aroma is floral and herbal with a hint of pear. The mouthfeel is light and flat. It has a strong flavor of pear. It leaves a lingering taste of soap in your mouth. This beer takes a great effort to drink.
