This is a classic English bitter, gentle water, middle flavour. Medium body. Quite a top note bitter with hop aromatics up the nose, and grass on the tongue, then breaks into a bit of toasted cereal. Slight bitter finish.

Warning, yawn o’clock. Yet another pointless offering from Why? Valley. Hoho, see what I did there. Classic English ’real ale’. The type that Hannah would probably say she likes. Love it when she listens to our beer conversations, you can feel she kinda wants to get involved but hasn’t got a clue what we’re on about.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at The Acres, Solihull. Poured a lovely clear golden brown, with a white frothy head and bags of lace. Little in the way of an aroma, but a lovely smooth malty taste with a hint of bitterness that follows through to the palate. A really awesome English bitter and lovely for a session!
