on tap at The Barrels, Hereford. Amber colour with a tiny head. Hoppy nose. Slightly malty and fruity with a grown-up hop profile, slightly citrusy. After the HPA I expected a little more... but still good.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Amber color, small beige head. Light nutty aroma. Light caramel, some woody hops. Decent body for 3.7% beer. Simple and uninspiring. A bit too sweet for being even a session beer.

Cask@GBBF2009. Ambery golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, grass, wood and mildly fruity. All this in a very mild/weak way. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather mellow and bland.

Cask@CastleInnChepstow. Aroma of malts, caramel and raisin. Brown color, small disappearing off-white head, fair lace. Malty, bitter, grassy, herbal. Sticky start with a dry finish. Flavorful bitter and not too sweet like many.

Had this in the Boat at Redbrook. It was dark amber in colour with no head and smelt of vinegar not a very enjoyable pint.

Cask at The Fountain Hotel, Tenbury Wells. Dark golden in colour with an off-white foam head. Hoppy with some sugar in the scent. Watery. Grassy malts, with some yeast present on the bitter slightly hoppy end. OK but not very exciting, and malts were more predominant than I would have expected in a bitter.

cask half @ the white horse. Looked stunning. Copper with a thick creamy head and in perfect condition. But otherwise very very unremarkable. hardly any aroma or taste. Hoppy biter finnish but that was it. too smooth indeed
