Cask Real Ale tasted at Pullman Bar. Mild nose. Low head. Clear pale golden color. Sourish slightly waterly malty and mild hopped taste. Some hints of nuts. At the end hops bite.

Ruby amber pour with a thin creamy head and heavy, spotty lacing. Light malt aromas, some crystal and some wheat. Hops are balanced and light. Malts are little more thick in the flavors, with the bitter hops coming out to play.

Cask at The Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is weak malt which leads to a medium bitter flavour with a smooth malty palate. It was served a little cooler than normal which probably suited it. A fine English session ale.

Golden ale with almost no head and a malty aroma. Has a similar character for its taste and is smooth in the palate.

500ml bottle. pours a clear light amber/gold with small white head. minimal lacing. aroma of hops and taste is just a standard bitter. nothing exciting.

Draught. This is a nice classic bitter with a bit more omph on the bittering hops than usual.

Cask,hand pulled at The Wellington,Birmingham.Golden pour with off white minimal head.Malt aroma with some flowery notes hinted at.Malt and hop flavour with a hoppy finish.Tried this on gravity at pubs nearer the brewery and always seems all the better for it poured straight from the cask.

I work with somebody who states this is their favourite beer in the world ever. They need a good day tomorow so I’m drinking this in some strange good luck act that will obviously have no impact whatsoever. Can’t say I’m impressed. Does that bode well? Ha, good job I’m a nice fella. Leave the meat at home though.

Bottle from my Dad. Thanks Dadster. Cloudy orange/golden bitter with a good head. Faint, floral hops aroma. Subtle yeasty hops taste with some citrus in the finish. Abrupt. Refreshing. Not spectacular.
