english pint / oats and caramel aroma. slightly active amber body. big white head that diminishes slow and airy. smooth brew, slightly chewy, buttery (butty?). hops are hard to describe, but itís all there. iím not understanding how this can be a blond ale since it tastes like itís more of a maltier pale ale or bock. funny label!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet malty aroma, alittle fruity (banana, berries), vanilla. Cloudy orange-brown color with white head. Sweet malty flavor hints of cinnamon (english yeast). Not all that for the price, though.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a nice lasting off white head that leaves some lacing in my glass. Grassy and fruity aromas, tart apple, pears and caramel flavors, medium bodied with a prickly carbonated mouthfeel, finishes a bit sour and on the dry side, not bad.

lively carbonation, cloudy amber body; fruity, flowery aroma; orange peel and metallic notes against the unassuming base malt background, hints of nuts and butterscotch, some astringency and somehow a weak Belgian charactor, also.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On Tap at the Blind Tiger Ale House, NYC; Cask-Conditioned: This is the beer I least enjoyed drinking during my stay in NYC. It pours a light, slightly cloudy, amber gold color with a white head that lasts the entire glass. The aroma is fairly weak, but the malts do show themselves very lightly. It has a medium body with low carbaonation and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is very lightly malty with some caramel notes. The finish is short and sweet with a bit of hop bitterness thrown in. A decent ale, but nothing to get excited over.

50cl bottle from Sainsburyís. Large frothy head which dissapates quickly. Orange. Aroma difficult to describe, yeasty and chemically but better once itís in the mouth. Oily and fizzy in the palate with a sweet but acidic flavour. Disappointing.

I work with somebody who states this is their favourite beer in the world ever. They need a good day tomorow so Iím drinking this in some strange good luck act that will obviously have no impact whatsoever. Canít say Iím impressed. Does that bode well? Ha, good job Iím a nice fella. Leave the meat at home though.

Cask, hand pulled at The Wellington,Birmingham.Golden pour with off white minimal head.Malt aroma with some flowery notes hinted at.Malt and hop flavour with a hoppy finish.Tried this on gravity at pubs nearer the brewery and always seems all the better for it poured straight from the cask.
