Commercial Description:
Cask, Special;
Brewed to coincide with the Three Counties Show at Malvern, Champion Ale has a Hereford Bull on the clip. This winning infusion of Pale, Dark Crystal and Wheat malts is one of the finest beers to come from the brewery. The finesse of the East Kent Goldings and the locally grown Fuggles make for a fine aromatic combination. Champion Ale is ruby brown in colour.

Dark amber with almost no head. Sugary scent with a hint of flowers. Very thin, flat, sweet and very indistinct in the mouth.

Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, 16-06-07. Poured mid brown colour with great clarity and small white head. Nice hoppy nose with some malt. Tasted initially malty with nice sweetness running through but finishes with a great flourish, lovely bitterness and hoppy character, this really was a very nice beer indeed.
