COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If anything is going to tempt Father Christmas down your chimney a little early this year it will be a pint of this copper-coloured best bitter – full bodied and satisfying with a spicy blackcurrant finish. Perfect with a mince pie or two.

Cask conditioned at The Whitefriars Ale House, Coventry. Copper to dark brown with cream head. Lovely condition, just pulled through, there is a rich, smooth chocolate note to this with a background caramel, toffee which gives depth rather than detracts in this case. Fruity, plummy, malty and rich. Mine was pretty decent.

Bought on cask. The beer does have a nice deep red colour to coincide with a half a finger white head. However i did struggel to get any aroma from the beer. Up on tasting the beer i did some caramel and biscuit notes but like i say only some. Nice and clear served from the cask.

Nice rounded medium bodied bitter with some fresh doughy hoppiness followed with a mellow light fruityness. Very easy session beer.
