COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Seasonal;
Dorothy reckons there’s nothing better on a chilly day than a pint of my Black Ruby ale! This smooth, easy drinking ruby ale is made using Bramling Cross hops and the very best Herefordshire blackcurrants, grown in the county’s rich, fertile soils.

Cask conditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury, Oxon. Copper to brown with white head. I had quite tobacco blast right at the start of this beer, not smokey, but dried tobacco leaf. The fruity note emerges, blackcurrant but blissfully not too sweet, a little tart in fact. Quite hoppy, dry and bitter, reasonable beer.
