COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
Thumbing through her grandfather’s books, Dorothy came upon a recipe for a wonderful stout with intense roasted barley flavours and a dry, bitter finish.
Together with her friend Jimmy, our head brewer, she created this dark, full-bodied number. It boasts roasted coffee notes and plenty of hop flavour.

Bottle. Pours black with a large, creamy tan head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is light roast, chocolate and coffee malt with earthy hops and dark fruity esters. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation.

tmrmwel (220) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 1, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Beate & Tommy, shared with VANØ Bergen. Pours dark, with a nice, creamy head. Aroma is light burned malts, with notes of coffee. Body is slightly thin, and watery. Flavour is not very complex, but the no-nonsense burned approach works quite well here. Finish is on the sweet side.

Amara e luppolata. Ovviamente si sente il malto tostato. Finale di caffè. Persistente. Ora rimane da conoscere la signorina sull’etichetta.

50 ml bottle. Pours an symmetric off white head which smoothens after short time. Nice dark color. Not too much aroma, some roast, a bit of chocolate. Taste is definitely chocolate. A nice stout, but not offensive in any way. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle in an English pint. Pours black with a lacy, light tan head. Aroma of roasted and caramel malts, a hint of coffee, and some floral hops. Flavor the same with some coffee undertones. Average texture. A decent stout.

Bottle. Black with a thick creamy off white head. Unpleasant chocolate and band-aid aroma. Decent creamy chocolate taste with light coffee and tangy citrus notes. Nice velvety palate.
