Ungstrup (10939), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 20, 2004 [Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] A black beer with a beutiful chocolate brown head. The aroma is slightly sour combined with roasted notes - I wonder where the sourness comes from? The flavor is slightly sour with notes of coffee. The sourness pricles the tongue until it ends on a roasted malty dry note. A bad taste - on my tastebuds. omhper (10145), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 16, 2002 Reddish black appearance. Big bacon aroma. Realy roasty and very salty with licorice flavour. Medium bodied with bitter finish. Papsoe (9951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 28, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and a dense and frothy, beige head leaving a broad rim of lacework. Aromas dominated by roasted malt and chocolate. Medium body with both roasted and burned malty accents. Also both licorice and chocolate. Bitter, burned finish from the malts. A wholesome stout indeed! Yummy. 240906 joergen (6162), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 1, 2006 Bottle.
