Jan 20, 2004 [Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] A black beer with a beutiful chocolate brown head. The aroma is slightly sour combined with roasted notes - I wonder where the sourness comes from? The flavor is slightly sour with notes of coffee. The sourness pricles the tongue until it ends on a roasted malty dry note. A bad taste - on my tastebuds.

Sep 28, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and a dense and frothy, beige head leaving a broad rim of lacework. Aromas dominated by roasted malt and chocolate. Medium body with both roasted and burned malty accents. Also both licorice and chocolate. Bitter, burned finish from the malts. A wholesome stout indeed! Yummy. 240906

May 29, 2005 Almost balck colour with a baige head. Light roasted coffee aroma and a roasted coffee chocolat taste. Medium body and a roasted dry finish.
