COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
Thumbing through her grandfather’s books, Dorothy came upon a recipe for a wonderful stout with intense roasted barley flavours and a dry, bitter finish.
Together with her friend Jimmy, our head brewer, she created this dark, full-bodied number. It boasts roasted coffee notes and plenty of hop flavour.

This is a dryer stout without much sweetness. Nice fullbody, and roasted malts are most prevalent. The aftertaste is very minimal particularly for a stout. Not many lingering flavors.

50cl bottle at home from Gloucester Services Farm Shop. Nose is roasted malt, bread. Body is pitch black, head is small, beige, fizzy, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is toast, mild coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt. Light sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty heavy bitter. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy dessert beer, simple, nice one.

Bottle. Dark brown with small brown head. Malty aroma with coffee and some dark chocolate. The taste is sweet and pretty much like the aroma. Its slightly bitter in the end witch is quite nice after the sweetness.

Dark brown color. Medium carbonation. Very weak aromas of chocolate, minerals, generic yeast smell. Dry palate with coffee, herbal bitterness, and a burned finish. A bit of fruitiness as it warms up. Not incredibly complex. Surely drinkable, but not special.

Nice dark black appearance with lots of head that lasts for a little while. Hints of coffee in taste, but not very dominant.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2015 Mild stout, lett-drukken. Litt lite aroma, litt flat smak. Noe bitter ettersmak. Anbefales dersom man vil ha en lett stout. Passer nok bra til mat, da den trolig Ikke vil være dominerende ifht maten som serveres.
