COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned. AKA Hereford Pale Ale.
HPA is a truly delightful pale ale. It’s smooth on the palate, and boasts a citrus hop aroma leading to a balanced bitter finish.
Locally grown Target and Styrian Goldings hops play an important part in making this such a distinctive beer. With Maris Otter pale malt and malted wheat also being used, this is very much a pale ale with all the right ingredients.

Bottle. Pale yellow ale with s head around the edge of the glass. It has a light hoppy aroma and similarly a light texture with some malts evident too.

Cask at The Angel in Bewdley. One of my favourite beers, not much aroma but a very nice balanced beer.

cask@Blue Stoops Chesterfield. Crystal clear straw colour with a pleasant lemony citrus taste. Quite dry with good hops and some malt coming through. Though not perfect, this is one of the better beers of it,s type and makes a good session ale, particularly in summer. Haven,t come across it too often, which is a bit of a shame.

Cask @ White cross, Lancaster 050113
Very light straw, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma - light citrus, lemon, that’s it
Taste - soft citrus, lemon, sweet pale malts, very simple, bit boring to be honest
Palate - Thin body. Finish as main flavour, very soft lemon meringue pie finish
Overall - Fresh n easy, standard golden ale, rather boring though

Bottle 500ml. The aroma is of lemon, hops and the slightest hint of malt. It pours a pale straw yellow and has a very thin white head that vanishes as soon as its poured. Taste wise citrus is predominant and this gives way to a dry crisp finish. Not too dry tho. Not a bad pint this one.

Bottle. Clear blond ale with pleasant dry, citrus hoppy taste. Good balance. Perhaps too much fizz. This is ok.
