A little boiled caramel, toffee without being sweet and a late dark roasted flavour. It’s fine though a little short.

Bottle. Slightly malty with a lingering well balanced flavour.A special for the Wildfowl trust with a very nice label.

Bottle. Brown beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly roasted and the flavour is dry, caramel, lightly hopped and slightly warming. Overall a nice plain beer.

Bottle. Dark brown with a big foam head. Aromas are sweet toffee with hops spices. Flavours are malty with some lemon. Some weetabix and chocolate notes. Dry on the finish. A good malty brew.

[cask at Bon Accord] Aroma is a balance of sweet toffee malt and flowery hops. body is on the thin side, dry finish, touch of bitterness.

Booring, but not as bad as it can sound, it was a little tasty. With a touch of butter. Foam some interesting.

Aroma is grassy and citrus hops with a little yeast. Taste is toasted malts, with more grassy hops, quite bitter.
