COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned. At Wye Valley Brewery we believe in real beer for real people. Simple pleasures shared with friends are what itís all about. Crack open this pale amber, premium beer which we have bottle-conditioned to bring you fresh, rounded flavours. Enjoy the lovely citrus hop aroma, the full malty flavour and long biscuity finish. Find a friend and open another bottle. Why Not? Tastes great with spicy, smoky flavours such as kedgeree or smoked cheeses. Always serve in good company.

Bottle. Golden with a thin foam. Aromas are biscuit malts with pineapple and lemon. Apricot with hay and caramel. Light oranges with honey and floral notes. Flavours are sweet caramel with spiced oranges and bitter lemon. Dry biscuit with some peppery notes. Pretty decent.

500ml bottle as part of the Sainsburys beer challenge 2011. Clear gold colour with lasting near white thin head. Some nettle bitterness on aroma. Some perfumed stone fruit flavour in the mouth. Some bitterness on the finish from the Target hops. Itís a kind of peach/apricot golden ale. Certainly not unpleasant. And quite drinkable on a hot evening in a pub garden. Unfortuntely I was sat in my flat on a cold miserable windy September evening.
